The Fruitport Trojans unleashed a 14-hit attack on Thursday and defeated Holland Christian, 11-2 in baseball action.

The Trojans fell behind early, but a four-run fourth inning put them ahead for good. Cody Nash knocked in a run on a fielder’s choice, Christian Kennedy singled in a run and Andrew Spyke singled in two runs.

Fruitport put up four more runs in the sixth inning.  Tommy Anderson provided a key hit with an RBI double.

Avery Lambers went three innings on the mound and allowed two runs on five hits. He struck out two and did not walk a batter.

Braxton Ward, Ryan Bosch, Kennedy, Anderson, and Lambers all had two-hit games for Fruitport.
