GRAND HAVEN–The Grand Haven girls track team earned a fourth-place finish in the MHSAA Division 1 regional track meet on Friday.

The meet was hosted by Grand Haven.

The Rockford Rams took home the regional title with 184.5 points while Zeeland East came in second place with 105.5 and Holland West Ottawa was third place with 74.

Other local team scores included Muskegon who came in 10th place with 15 points, Mona Shores finished in 12th place with 10 points and Reeths-Puffer was 14th with seven points.

Grand Haven had three regional champions in Valerie Beeck in the 800-meter run, Nadia Prieditis in the 300-meter hurdles and the Bucs’ 4 x 400 relay team.

Local top individual performances included:

100 Meters – Kamya Anderson, Muskegon (4th) and Isabelle Robbins, Grand Haven (8th)

200 Meters – Brianna Smith, Reeths-Puffer (7th)

400 Meters – Eden Smith, Grand Haven (2nd) and Diamond Madison, Mona Shores (7th)

800 Meters – Valerie Beeck, Grand Haven (1st); Addison Smith, Grand Haven (3rd); Ellery Horness, Mona Shores (7th) and Jersi Bilek, Reeths-Puffer (10th)

1600 Meters – Cianah Budnik-Ramos, Grand Haven (7th) and Payton Hosley, Grand Haven (10th)

300m Hurdles – Nadia Prieditis, Grand Haven (1st) and Mariona Balsera Mar, Grand Haven (9th)

4 x 100 Relay – Grand Haven (5th); Muskegon (6th) and Reeths-Puffer (7th)

4 x 200 Relay – Grand Haven (2nd); Muskegon (4th) and Reeths-Puffer (6th)

4 x 400 Relay – Grand Haven (1st) and Mona Shores (6th)

4 x 800 Relay – Grand Haven (3rd) and Mona Shores (7th)

Shot Put – Jayda Trigg, Mona Shores (8th)

Discus – Jayda Trigg, Mona Shores (9th)

High Jump – Steffanie McGuffey, Muskegon (7th)
