MUSKEGON–The end of the regular season did not go well for the Mona Shores baseball team on Friday night at historic Marsh Field.

The Sailors fell to Grandville, 6-0.

Despite knocking out seven base hits and having three players hit by pitches, the Sailors were unable to score any runs.
 
On two occasions, the Sailors loaded the bases, but could not plate a run.
 
The Sailors did not have anyone with more than one hit, and seven different players had hits.
 
Brady Recknagel took the loss on the hill for the Sailors, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out two.

Mona Shores takes a 23-8 record into its pre-district game with Grand Haven at home at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
