Grant Tigers capture softball sweep over Sparta

 

Emma Bliss posted victories in both games on Thursday and led the Grant Tigers to a softball sweep of Sparta.

 

Grant won the opener 12-7 and the nightcap, 9-8. Bliss had five strikeouts in the opener seven in the nightcap.

 

In the first game, Taylee Self had three hits, including two doubles, scored to runs and had two RBI. Madison Thompson also had three hits, scored one run and had one RBI. 

 

In the second game, Self had a double while Allie Robeck and Reese Gragg had hits for the Tigers.
