LUDINGTON — Ludington’s baseball team split a doubleheader at home with Ravenna on Friday, winning the first game 4-3 while dropping the nightcap, 4-3.

Jonny Weinert picked up the win in the first game. He pitched seven innings and allowed five hits, no earned runs and recorded seven strikeouts.
 
Nathan Dillehay was the leading hitter for the Orioles, going 2-for-3 with three runs batted in.
 
Dillehay started the second game and worked 1 1/3 innings and allowed two earned runs.
 
Brody Kaminski was 2-for-3 with two walks to lead the Orioles at the plate. Gage Jones drove in two runs.
 
“We have to tighten up the little things in order to achieve our goal of bringing home a (district) trophy,” Orioles coach Even Kroeze said.

The Orioles moved to 13-16 on the season and are home again next Wednesday for a doubleheader against North Muskegon.
