Mason County Eastern claims runner-up slots in league track meet

BRETHREN–The Mason County Eastern boys and girls track teams finished in the runner-up position at the third WMD jamboree on Wednesday.

The meet was run at Brethren High School

In the boys’ division, Marion claimed the top spot with 188.75 points while the Cardinals finished with 123 and Pentwater came in third place with 103.5.

Other team scores included Mesick (65.25), Manistee Catholic (53), Brethren (30), Walkerville (20) Baldwin (11.5) and Big Rapids Crossroads Academy (11).

In the girls’ division, Brethren finished in the top spot with 165 points while Mason County Eastern finished with 162.5 and Pentwater came in third place with 90.

Other team scores included: Marion (83.5), Manistee Catholic (55), Big Rapids Crossroads Academy (33), Mesick (32), Baldwin (2) and Walkerville (1).
