MONTAGUE–The Montague Wildcats boys track team took home the MHSAA Division 3 regional title Saturday.
The Wildcats finished with 117.5 points to get by Grand Rapids Covenant Christian (93 points) and North Muskegon (80.5 points).
Montague hosted the regional that included 15 teams.
The Wildcats were led by senior Silas Jancek, who won both the shot put and discus titles. Jancek also was part of the 4 x 100 relay team that took first place. The Wildcats also took the top spot in the 4 x 200 relay.
North Muskegon junior Jerry Wiegers led the Norse by winning both the 200-meter and 400-meter titles.
Other team scoring included: Grandville Calvin Christian (67), Saugatuck (48), Lakeview (45), Saranac (42), Kent City (41), Ravenna (35.5), Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian (33), Grand Rapids West Catholic (24.5), Holland Black River (18) and Morley-Stanwood (17).
