WEST BRANCH — For the first time since 2013, the Muskegon Community College Jayhawk mens’ golf team captured the Michigan Community College Athletic Association golf title.

The 36-hole event was at The Nightmare in West Branch and included nine teams.

The Jayhawks were led by individual medalist Steve Cullen, who shot a 70-72-142 for the day. He was followed by Andrew Taylor at 74-80-154 and Ben Zwick with 83-74-157. Dylan Lisman rounded out the team scoring with a 77-81-158. The Jayhawks’ fifth golfer, who did not count in the score, was Tyler Tallefson, who shot an 85-88-173.
