PLYMOUTH, Ind. — The Muskegon Community College Jayhawk golf team remained in 19th place in the NJCAA Division II men’s golf nationals.

After the first day, the Jayhawks also were in 19th place in the meet at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Ind.

Warner Beach, from Glendale Community College, sits atop the leaderboard after a two-day total of 137 (7-under-par). 

Kirkwood Community College is the top team with 575 strokes. Runner-up Parkland College has 578 and South Mountain Community College is at 581.

Muskegon CC’s two-day total is 634.

Steve Cullen is tied for 61st place after a two-day total of 153. He was followed by Ben Zwick at 160 and tied for 91st place, Andrew Taylor at 162 for a tie for 97th place, Dylan Lisman tied for 99th at 163 and Tyler Tallefson in a tie for 105th place at 164.

The field includes 130 golfers from 22 teams. Match play begins on Thursday morning.
