Muskegon Community College owns lead in regional golf championships

BATTLE CREEK — Two rounds are in the books for the NJCAA Region 12 Golf Championships.

Muskegon Community College has a three-stroke lead over Grand Rapids Community College and Glen Oaks C0mmunity College. The regional, which includes 13 teams, is being played at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek.

Through 36 holes, Muskegon’s Steve Cullen is leading the way with a 72-74-146.

Other Jayhawk scores include Andrew Taylor (79-75-154), Dylan Lisman (80-77-157), Ben Zwick (80-86-166) and Tyler Tallefson (85-93-178).
