MUSKEGON — In a matchup of two teams ranked in honorable mention in Division 3, Oakridge and Hamilton battled to a doubleheader split on Thursday.
 
Hamilton won the first game, 11-2, and the host Eagles won the nightcap, 9-4.
 
All-stater Maddie Jamrog was the winning pitcher for Hamilton in the opener. She allowed five hits in six innings of work. She struck out 10 and walked one.
 
Hamilton, which had 15 hits, scored three runs in the third, four runs in the sixth and three in the seventh to gain control of the game.
 
Madi Clark belted a home run and Gracie Willea had a double for Oakridge. Kylee Willea took the loss for Oakridge.
 
In the nightcap, Kaelinn Jozsa was the winning pitcher as she went the distance and allowed seven hits.
 
The leading hitters for Oakridge (14-3) were Brenna Cabrera with a three-run homer, a double and a single, Gracie Willea with a double, single and two RBI and Andrea Romero with two singles.
 
Oakridge, which did not commit an error in the game, scored five runs in the second, three in the third and four in the fourth.
