MUSKEGON — The Oakridge Eagles scored two runs in the third and fourth innings and made them stand up in a 4-2 non-league baseball victory over the Spring Lake Lakers.

The Lakers plated one run in the first inning and one in the sixth and had the bases loaded in the seventh, but could not score.

Adrian LaNore picked up the win for the Eagles with Jullian Primmer in middle relief and Matt Danicek picking up the save.
 
Eagle Ryan Cribbins had two hits while Evan Miller and Brayden Cunningham had the other Eagle hits. Matt Danicek, Brody Jennings and Cunningham each had an RBI.

Spring Lake’s Gerrit Lyyski accounted for the first-inning run with a solo home run. He later scored on Gabe May’s RBI single. Lyyski and Zane Stahl each finished with two hits.

Spring Lake is now 13-8.
 
Oakridge is now 8-6 overall, 6-2 in the league.
