The Orchard View Cardinals came up short in two weekend baseball games.

The Cardinals dropped a 10-0 decision to Kent City in a game that lasted five innings. In the second game, Tri-County defeated Orchard View, 9-6.

In the first game, the Cardinals were limited to just three hits. Kent City pitcher Ryan Darling allowed three hits and struck out five in five innings of work.

Justin Mack, Kyler Larson, Webb Longcore and Tyler Brummel had two hits each for the Eagles. Derek Rodenberg had three RBI.

In the second game, Noah Smith had two hits for Orchard View. Jaxon Tuttle had a double.
