MUSKEGON — It was a rough day for the Reeths-Puffer Rocket baseball team on Wednesday.

Zeeland East came to town and handed the Rockets two losses – 5-0 in the opener and 12-1 in the nightcap.

In the opener, Colton Bessinger, in his first varsity start, turned in a strong performance. He limited Zeeland East to one run in four innings of work. However, the Rockets’ bats were largely silent.

In the nightcap, Reeths-Puffer received hits from Catcher Earnest, Jaxon Whitaker and Trent Reichert.
