The Reeths-Puffer Rockets got solid pitching and good hitting and defeated Holland in both games of a baseball doubleheader on Thursday.

The Rockets won the first game, 11-3, and the nightcap, 6-0.

In Game 1, Trent Reichert was the winning pitcher. He had 13 strikeouts in six innings of work.

Leading hitters were Kyle Schlaff with two hits and three RBI and Lukas Johnson with two hits, both doubles, three runs scored and two RBI.

In the second game, Jaxson Whitaker was the winning pitcher. He had 11 strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings on the mound.

The offense was led by Quinn Alderink with two hits, Reichert with a double and Schlaff with two RBI.
