MUSKEGON–An unusual occurrence happened on Wednesday night for the Reeths-Puffer Rockets.

They dropped two softball games to Zeeland East. The Rockets came in with a 15-1 record and left at 15-3.

Reeths-Puffer lost the first game, 9-4, and the second game, 10-2.

In the opener, the Rockets had six hits, led by Mady Snyder with a grand slam home run. Snyder also took the loss on the mound. She allowed 10 hits and struck out five.

Lainey McDaniel added a triple for  Reeths-Puffer.

In the second game, the Rockets had eight hits, led by Kaylee Jones with a single, double and triple. McDaniel had two singles and a triple.
