MUSKEGON — The Reeths-Puffer Rockets battled back from a 6-1 deficit in the opener to gain a victory then unloaded in the second game with their hot bats.

In the end, the Rockets defeated Holland, 7-6, in the opener and 16-0 in the nightcap.

In the first game, Mady Snyder was the winning pitcher thanks to a five-run sixth inning and a single run in the seventh that completed the comeback. She had 16 strikeouts.

Megan Barnes had a triple and a single to lead the Rockets.

In the second game, Kyleigh Bilek pitched a one hitter. Reeths-Puffer scored 10 runs in the fourth inning.

Leading hitters were Kaylee Jones with a double and a single. Snyder and Lainey McDaniel each had two singles.
