HUDSONVILLE — The Spring Lake Laker boys track team finished runner-up to Hamilton in Friday’s OK-Blue Conference Championship.

Hamilton came into the meet as the heavy favorite after an undefeated regular season. Hamilton won the meet with 172 points, followed by Spring Lake with 126.5. Third place went to Allendale with 104, followed by Holland Christian with 72.5, Coopersville with 69, host Unity Christian with 55; Grand Rapids West Catholic at 31 and Fruitport with 30.

The Lakers turned in two school records and several others set personal records.

Spring Lake’s top finishers:

300-meter hurdles – 1, Jaxson Tober, 39.20 (tied the school record)

4×200 relay: Second place but broke the record they set earlier in the season with a time of 1:31.28.

110-meter hurdles – 1, Jaxson Tober, 14.96 seconds; 5, RJ Goloversic.

800 meters – 1, Ethan Grevengoed, 1:59.62; 4, Luke Glasgow,

400 meters – 1, Tanner Guczwa, 50.09

100 – 2, Jackson Gee

200 – 2, Jackson Gee

3200 – 2, Parker Woodwyk

1600 – 3, Parker Woodwyk
