NORTH MUSKEGON — It wasn’t too long ago when North Muskegon throttled Whitehall in the Greater Muskegon Athletic Association title game in Tier 2.

On Tuesday, the Vikings gained at least a bit of revenge with a 16-4 victory over the Norse, which had defeated Whitehall 10-0 in the GMAA tournament.

On Tuesday, the Vikings ended their three-game slide with a 19-hit attack. Everyone in the lineup had at least one hit.

Megan LeaTrea, Onnyka Dempsey and Taylor Ottinger each had three hits. Lianne Fagan and Hailey Carnes each had a pair of hits.

Evie Darke and Hailey Carnes each drove in three runs. Carnes’ hits were both doubles.

LeaTrea was the winning pitcher. She went five innings and gave up two earned runs.
