LUDINGTON — Visiting Whitehall swept a doubleheader from Ludington, 13-1 and 15-0, in the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division Wednesday.

In the first game, Onnyka Dempse led the Vikings with two hits, one a triple, and four runs scored, while Evie Darke hit a triple and drove in three runs. Lianne Fagan knocked in two runs and Lucy Tucker had one RBI.

Megan Lea Trea picked up the win in the pitcher’s circle with six strikeouts.

Tucker was in the circle in the nightcap and allowed just two hits on just 43 pitches in a game shortened to four innings because of the 10-run rule.

Darke led the Vikings with three hits, including a triple, and four RBI. Dempsey, Fagan and Trea also had multiple-hit games, while Annabel Kevwitch and Harper Leon each hit a triple.

Whitehall takes a three-game winning streak into this weekend’s GMAA tournament.

Ludington travels to Fremont next Tuesday.
