WHITEHALL — The host Whitehall Vikings used heavy hitting to win two baseball games on Tuesday against the Orchard View Cardinals.

Whitehall won the first game 13-0 and the nightcap, 13-8.

In the first game, Ryne Christiansen was the winning, but also helped his own cause at the plate with two hits and three RBI. Jaden Brinkert had two hits, one a double, and two RBI. Noah Meinert also had two hits, one a double. Leadoff hitter Kyle Stratton scored three runs and knocked in two. Isaac VanAmberg knocked in a pair of runs.

In the second game, Stratton had three hits, including a home run, and six RBI. He also scored three more runs. Brinkert had three hits, two of which were doubles, and scored three runs. Maddox Varela had two hits.

Jack McDowell was the winning pitcher.
