MUSKEGON – The Fruitport Calvary Christian volleyball team was 1-1 in a quad match at Muskegon Catholic Central on Tuesday.
The Eagles took down Big Rapids Crossroads (25-19, 25-16, 25-21) and lost to Onekama (21-25, 22-25, 16-25).
Ella Dykman accumulated 22 kills, 15 digs, four blocks and an ace while Marissa Tyler had 41 assists, 15 digs and three aces. Michayla Assaad contributed nine digs, five aces and two kills.
Brooke Trumbull added 13 digs, three aces and a block.
The Crusaders finished 0-2 with a loss against Onekama (12-25, 21-25, 14-25) and a hard-fought match to Big Rapids Crossroads (23-25, 25-16, 19-25, 23-25).
Emily Muskovin led the Crusaders with 30 assists, 10 aces and two blocks while Abbi Cook had eight digs, eight aces and five kills. Aubrey Shepherd added 16 digs and six aces.
Deja Hill and Claire Carlton had 20 digs and 10 kills, respectively.
Fruitport Calvary Christian (4-4) will be at home for an Alliance League matchup with Zion Christian on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
Muskegon Catholic Central (0-2) will host a double-dual on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
