COOPERSVILLE – The Montague volleyball team finished 1-1-2 to open the season on Friday at the Coopersville Invite.
The Wildcats got by Comstock Park (25-13, 25-19) and fell to Otsego (17-25, 19-25). The ties came against Cadillac (25-21, 23-25) and Forest Hills Eastern (12-25, 25-22).
Brittany Johnson had 21 digs, 14 kills and four aces while Jaelyn Sundberg had 74 assists, 11 digs and an ace on the day.
Jacy Arrigotti added 20 digs, 14 kills and three aces. Alissa Wynn and Ava Vandermeulen chipped in with six aces and one ace, respectively.
Montague will be back in action on Wednesday at Shelby.
