Eight players each net a goal in North Muskegon’s district soccer victory over Crossroads

NORTH MUSKEGON – The North Muskegon boys soccer team recorded their program’s 300th victory with a win in the Division 4 district opener on Thursday.

The Norse cruised past Big Rapids Crossroads Charter Academy, 8-0.

It was a balanced attack as eight Norsemen scored goals.

Oliver Chumley-Jarvis, Curtis VanderVelde, Boston Stone, Thomas Hogan, Dallyn Ellis, Cole Johnson, Devin Porter and Navarro Escareno each had a goal.

Chase Zizak posted the shutout in the net with one save.

North Muskegon (8-9-4) advances to face Pentwater at Western Michigan Christian on Tuesday.
