NORTH MUSKEGON – The North Muskegon boys basketball team breezed by WMC-Rivers foe Hesperia on Thursday.
The Norse topped the Panthers, 65-17.
“We got off to a good start and kept it going through the first half,” said Norse coach Chuck Rypstra. “We were able to get good looks through our press and just getting out to run.”
Adam Dugener and Talan Thompson led with 11 points apiece. Lamarkis Graham scored 10 points and made five steals, while James Young added nine rebounds, five assists and four points.
Also, Leighton Hunt chipped in five rebounds and four points.
“Everyone got good minutes tonight,” said Rypstra. “It was a nice team win.”
The Panthers’ Jared Tanner posted seven points.
North Muskegon (5-0, 3-0) will be at home for league play on Tuesday against Shelby.
