Spring Lake boys take it to Western Michigan Christian in nonleague matchup

SPRING LAKE – Every player on the Spring Lake boys basketball team scored points in a 58-32 rout over Western Michigan Christian on Tuesday evening.

The Lakers led 29-9 after the first half and never looked back.

Karson George led the scoring with 17 points, followed by Ayden Ayers and Ryan Grimm with 12 and 10 points, respectively. Jaden Core and Evan Wahl contributed seven rebounds and three assists.

Spring Lake (8-7, 3-4) will visit crosstown rival Fruitport for an OK-Blue game on Friday.

WMC (6-7, 1-1) hosts Hart on Monday.
