The Oakridge Eagle bats were, for the most part, silent in Saturday’s Bob Kloss Invitational Tournament.

In three games in the Detroit area, the Eagles lost all three of their games.

In the opener, Oakridge lost to Carlson High School, 4-1. That was followed by a 4-0 shutout against Woodhaven. The final game of the day was an 11-2 loss to Trenton.

“Other than one bad inning in the Trenton game, the Eagles pitched and played solid defense all day,” said Eagle coach Brandon Barry. “Eagle bats were a different story. The lack of offense against three very good teams was the difference, especially in the first two ball games.”
