KENT CITY – The Kent City softball team dropped a game to Covenant Christian, 7-2, on Friday.
On the mound, Lylah Larson gave up seven hits, seven runs, two walks and struck out 11 batters.
Cailynn Hartzell led the offense with two hits and an RBI. Laynee Hoffman and Ellie Hansen each had a hit and scored a run. Laila Mortenson and Larson each added a hit.
Kent City (12-11) will host Central Montcalm on Tuesday for a CSAA matchup.
