Lyonnais twins pitch Muskegon Catholic to pre-district baseball victory over Holton

MUSKEGON – The Muskegon Catholic Central baseball teams’ Owen and Jacob Lyonnais combined on the mound to help bag a convincing, 8-0, win over Holton in the pre-district on Tuesday.

Together, the Lyonnais boys gave up just four hits and struck out five batters.

Croix Klint collected three hits and four RBI, while Bryan Convertini added three hits and scored three runs. Owen Lyonnais chipped in a double and an RBI. 

Muskegon Catholic Central will host White Cloud at 10 a.m. Saturday in one district semifinal. Western Michigan Christian and Pentwater are on the opposite bracket and will play at noon.
