The Mona Shores Sailors finished second and Reeths-Puffer was fourth in Wednesday’s OK-Green golf jamboree.
The event was staged at Clearbrook Golf Club and was the sixth league jamboree of the season.
Zeeland West finished on top of the leaderboard with a 164. Mona Shores and Holland each had a 172 while Reeths-Puffer had a 177. Zeeland East had a 182 and Grand Rapids Union finished at 184.
Mona Shores, which finished at 172, was led by sophomore Eddie Kuznar with a 41. Nathan Tilden finished at 43 while Josiah Bement and Kaidyn Berghuis each shot a 44. Other Sailors scores included Lucas Dethloff and Cooper Nellis with a 47.
Reeths-Puffer, which had a team score of 177, was led by Dylan Panozzo with a 39 and Kristian Brown with a 40. Other Rocket scores included Aiden Waggoner at 48, Ryleigh Beebe at 50 and Ayden Hartzell and Jake Lee with 53s.
“Dylan came out and played another great round of golf,” said Rocket coach Matt Pallett. “That is hard to do, especially after just winning the city tournament.”
The Rockets will be in action on Friday as they host the Rocket Invite at Lincoln Golf Club.
