Norden scores both goals in Mona Shores’ soccer victory over Grandville

GRANDVILLE – The Mona Shores girls soccer team edged out Grandville, 2-1, in its last non-conference game of the regular season on Saturday.

Shay Norden netted both of the scores for the Sailors with assists from Ella Kinney and Lilly Houle.

Jersey VanderWall made one save in the net.

Ava Freye, Amelia Coffin, Emma Anderson and Katie Phillips were credited with strong overall play.

Mona Shores (13-2-2, 7-0-1) will host Zeeland East in an OK-Green semifinal match on Tuesday.
