MUSKEGON – Trent Reichert delivered a two-run walk-off home run in extra innings in Reeths-Puffer’s 3-1 win over North Muskegon in non-league baseball action on Thursday.
Reichert’s homer, his fifth of the season, came in the ninth inning with Jack Yonkman on base.
Drew Brooks started for the Rockets and pitched seven scoreless. He allowed three hits and struck out eight. Yonkman pitched the final two innings and allowed one hit and earned the victory.
Reichert paced Reeths-Puffer with four hits and two RBI, while Jaxson Whitaker, Landyn Wilson and Brooks added a hit.
The Norse were led by Carter Mieler with two hits. Ryan Delora added a hit and RBI.
Delora started for North Muskegon and allowed one run on seven hits. He struck out 11 in 7.1 innings of work.
Cameron Hurst suffered the loss. He allowed two runs on one hit in 1.1 innings.
The Rockets finished the regular season with a 21-6 record, 14-5 in the conference.
