HAMILTON, Ohio – The Muskegon Clippers fell just short on Wednesday night in a 6-5 loss to the Hamilton Joes.

The Clippers led 1-0 early, before Hamilton scored three runs in the fifth inning to take a 3-1 lead. Muskegon responded with two runs in the sixth inning to tie the contest up.

The Joes scored a run in the seventh and two in the eighth to take a 6-3 advantage late in the contest.
