HAMILTON, Ohio – The Muskegon Clippers dropped their second straight contest to the Hamilton Joes on Thursday night at Foundation Field in Ohio.

The Clippers fell behind by four runs, cut their deficit to one run late, then gave up the final two runs of the contest and fell to the Joes, 6-3.

Muskegon is now 3-3 on the season, good for fourth place in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Baseball League standings.

The Clippers will return home to start a three-game series with the Grand Lake Mariners, starting Friday night at 7:05 p.m. at Marsh Field.

Muskegon only had five hits, led by Diego Pena with two hits to go along with two RBI. Carson McCoy, Zachary Warren, and Sam Clay each had a single.

Pitcher Chase Raymond suffered the loss. He allowed two runs on five hits while striking out three batters in four innings of work.
