LUDINGTON – The Fruitport boys soccer team notched a 2-0 win against Ludington in non-conference play on Monday.

The Trojans outshot the Orioles 22-2.

Isaac Vandermolen and Davis Johnson each had a goal for the Trojans. Braxton Ward added an assist. 

Goalkeeper Logan Werschem posted the shutout with a pair of saves.

Gabre Games had 10 saves for the Orioles.

Isaiah Packard, Sam Krueger, Nathaniel Cribley Cotto and Ward were lauded for their efforts in the  Trojan victory.

Fruitport (3-0) will be home against Whitehall on Wednesday.

Ludington (1-1-2) will host Cadillac on Friday.
