NORTON SHORES – The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team played in three tight matches, but went winless in a home quad match on Tuesday.
The Warriors fell short to Allendale (24-26, 23-25), Zeeland East (18-25, 20-25) and Montague (19-25, 13-25).
“We were handed a unique card today as we were missing Hannah Heiss, our senior outside hitter, resulting in multiple changes in our lineup,” said WMC coach Amber Sandin.
Abby Leffring led the offense with 21 kills. Madie Folkema added 11 kills and four aces, while Bri Warners had 10 kills and 49 assists.
WMC will travel to Tri-Unity Christian on Tuesday.
