FREMONT – The Fremont boys soccer team found a second-half spark and took down visiting Greenville, 4-1, on Thursday.

The game was scoreless at halftime and the action was back and forth before the Packers caught fire.

The Packers nearly earned a shutout, but gave up a goal with just 13 seconds remaining.

Joe Welsh led with a pair of goals and an assist. Deagan Klimek tallied two scores and Avery Burns added an assist.

Caleb Vissia made five saves in the net. The Packers outshot Greenville, 14-6.

Fremont (4-2) will be at home against Orchard View on Wednesday.
