HESPERIA – Skyler Stalbaum had a big night on Friday and led the Hesperia Panthers to a 54-0 victory over its nearby neighbor, the Holton Red Devils.

Stalbaum had nine carries for 47 yards, but four of those carries went for touchdowns. On defense, he made 12 tackles and forced a fumble. 

Blake Sayer was 9-of-15 passing for 167 yards with two touchdowns and rushed for 97 yards on eight carries with two scores. Thor Klaus chipped in 54 yards on two catches with a touchdown and made nine tackles and forced a fumble.

Ian Fox caught three passes for 72 yards and scored a touchdown. Noah Walker made eight tackles.

The Red Devils’ David Addison rushed for 52 yards, made eight tackles and recovered a fumble.

Hesperia (2-0) will hit the road for the first time this season to face White Cloud on Friday.

Holton (0-2) hosts Ravenna on Friday.
