JENISON – The Grand Haven football team’s season came to an end with a 34-14 OK-Red loss to Jenison on Friday evening.
The Bucs went down 27-7 by halftime and couldn’t recover.
Andrew Willemsen led the Bucs’ production on offense with 242 rushing yards on 26 carries with two touchdowns, including one for 69 yards. Quarterback Luke Berry was 7-of-19 for 95 yards and three interceptions. Will Korenstra caught five passes for 62 yards.
Connor VanBeek was the leading tackler with 11. Sawyer Harrison added eight tackles, while Luke Ratke and Ethan Wisenbaugh each had three tackles.
Grand Haven finished the season, 2-7.
