WHITEHALL – Kent City traveled to Whitehall on Tuesday for a volleyball tri-match and dropped both contests.
In the first match, Whitehall defeated Kent City 14-25, 25-22, 15-11. In the second match, Shelby defeated Kent City 25-20, 25-19.
The Eagles received 29 assists from Cailynn Hartzell, 11 kills by Laynee Hoffman and 10 from Maddy Mitchell. Hoffman had 30 digs and Kaden Perkins added 20. In serving, Perkins, Hoffman and Hartzell each had two aces.
Kent City is now 20-10-3.
