Mona Shores drops home volleyball match to league co-champion Caledonia

NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores volleyball team dropped a tough match against OK-Green co-champion Caledonia, 13-25, 19-25, 13-25, to close the regular season on Wednesday.

Grace Allen led the Sailor’s offense with nine kills, followed by Laynie Russell with eight kills. Elena Reister made 20 assists. Izzy Sturtevant had nine digs on defense.

Mona Shores (3-8, 6-4) will open Division 1 district play against Reeths-Puffer at Coopersville next Wednesday.
