The Muskegon Catholic Central volleyball team made easy work of Grand River Prep, winning by scores of 25-21, 25-21, and 25-15 on Thursday.
“The girls did a nice job tonight,” said MCC coach Shawn Bectel. “We were able to get everyone some good minutes tonight.”
Molly Caughey led the Crusaders with 14 kills while Claire Carlton had six. Emily Muskovin chipped in with 25 assists.
Abbigail Cook and Carlton had nine digs to lead the MCC defense while both Aubrey Shepherd and Muskovin each had eight.
The Crusaders are now 10-18 on the season, 3-4 in Alliance League play.
