CENTREVILLE – The Muskegon Catholic football team dropped their fourth straight game on Friday night, losing 16-8 to Centreville.
The Crusaders trailed 8-0 heading into the second quarter before scoring on a 94-yard return on a fumble recovery by Tim Railling.
The game remained tied 8-8 until midway through the third quarter when Centerville scored the game-winning touchdown on a 35-yard run.
MCC was paced by Bryan Convertini, who rushed for 61 yards on 13 carries while going 4-for-9 passing for 24 yards. Vince Szymanski caught three passes for 23 yards.
Convertini and Railling paced the Crusaders with 16 tackles apiece while Harrison Scharmer had 10.
MCC is now 1-6 on the season and will close out the year next Friday at home against Schoolcraft.
