MONTAGUE – The Montague volleyball team’s Jordan Netcott reached the 1,000 career mark for digs in a home tri-match on Wednesday.
The Wildcats went 1-1 with a close loss to Western Michigan Christian (26-24, 16-25, 20-25) and a win against Shelby (25-13, 13-25, 25-18).
Netcott finished the evening with three aces, 10 assists and 28 digs. Maizie Collins had 18 kills, two aces and three blocks, while Ava Pumford added 14 kills, two aces and three blocks.
Gentry Knop scored four aces and Jaelyn Sundberg made 19 assists.
Montague will compete in the West Michigan Conference tournament at Ludington on Saturday.
