NORTH MUSKEGON – The North Muskegon boys soccer team clinched a West Michigan Conference title over Montague with a 3-0 win on Wednesday.
Serj Pastor scored a goal and had an assist, while Carson Wingett and Thomas Hogan each had a goal. Bronson Hurst chipped in an assist.
The Norse’s Conner Crawford posted the shutout in the net.
The defense of Jack Barhorski, Elliot Irving, Sam Topping, Kelby Miller, Jackson Edwards, Curtis VanderVelde and Hurst limited the Wildcats to just two shots.
North Muskegon (12-4-2, 8-1-1) will open Division 4 district action on Wednesday as they host Wellspring Prep. North Muskegon began the week ranked No. 6 in Division 4.
Montague (14-5, 8-2) will host Grant for the opening round of the Division 3 district tournament on Wednesday.
