MUSKEGON – The Oakridge volleyball team finished the regular season with a narrow three-set victory against Hart for Senior Night on Tuesday.

The Eagles edged out the Pirates, 25-22, 27-25 and 25-21.

“Tonight, we honored our seniors,” said Oakridge coach Brooke Roth. “The girls played well and had fun. I’m so proud of this group of girls and how well they play together.”

Cami Guenthardt had eight kills and made seven blocks, while Kaylee Smith had a team-high 16 digs. Gracie Willea and Taylor Miszewski had 10 and seven assists, respectively.

The Pirates’ Kelsey Copenhaver had 10 kills, five assists and 16 digs. Reese Smith chipped in seven kills, one ace and 16 digs, while Leah Walker had four kills, one ace, five digs and a block. Calyn Eisenlohr contributed 14 assists and nine digs.

Oakridge will take a short trip to Orchard View next Tuesday, for the Division 2 district opener against Spring Lake.

Hart will travel to Fremont on Wednesday for the last match of the regular season.
