GRAND HAVEN – The Grand Haven volleyball team was a perfect 3-0 in a quad match on Saturday on its home court.

The Bucs didn’t drop a single set all day with wins against Forest Hills Central (25-15, 25-13, 25-16), Dewitt (25-12, 25-15, 25-16) and Zeeland East (25-17, 25-13, 25-19).

“We played really well today and so many of our athletes had great performances today,” said Grand Haven coach Aaron Smaka. “As a team we hit .444 on the day, which was one of the best offensive performances we have had in a long time.”

Mallory Woiteshek led the Bucs with 54 kills and 12 aces. Nadia Prieditis chipped in 36 kills, while Sara Weber and Bria Hogeboom added 55 and 46 assists, respectively. On defense, Ashley Fumarolo had 26 digs. Ellery Berndt, Allie Musial, Natalie Schneider and Ruby William hit over .350 on the day.

Grand Haven will cap off the regular season with an OK-Red match against Grandville on Tuesday.
