Fremont falls to St. Johns in four sets, gets eliminated from Division 2 volleyball regional

ADA – The Fremont volleyball team came out strong but couldn’t maintain momentum and fell to St. Johns in the Division 2 regional semifinal on Tuesday night.

The Packers won the first set 25-13, but lost three straight (21-25, 21-25, 16-25).

Mia Clemence led the Packers with 13 kills, one ace, 15 digs and a block. Averi Zimmer had nine kills and an ace, while Taylor DeKuiper added five kills and a block. Hallie Snyder scored three aces. Brynna Barnhart chipped in one ace, 26 assists and 11 digs. Grace Evans scored one ace and had 18 digs.

Fremont finished the season with a record of 43-8-1.
