NORTON SHORES – On a night when Bri Warners reached a milestone in assists, the Western Michigan Christian volleyball team swept by Ravenna and into the Division 3 district finals.
Warners finished with 35 assists and topped the 2,000-mark in her career as the Warriors topped the Bulldogs 25-21, 25-17, 25-18.
The Warriors’ Hannah Heiss and Madie Folkema each had 12 kills, while Abby Leffring had 10 kills.
WMC will be at home for a district title match against Kent City on Thursday. Kent City defeated North Muskegon in the other semifinal match.
