BROOKLYN – Two area boys’ cross country teams competed in Saturday’s Division 3 finals meet at Michigan International Speedway.
Western Michigan Christian finished 16th and Hart came in 20th to cap their season.
Traverse City St. Francis ran away with the team title with 86 points. Saugatuck was second with 177 and Ithaca was third with 180.
Onsted’s Mitchell Hiatt, a senior, won the individual title at 15:15.2.
WM Christian was led by senior Matthias Morse, who finished 13th with a time of 15:53.5.
Hart’s top runner was Silas Ackley, who came in 106th place at 17:10.5.
